Our Facilities

Our building is built around reliability and consistency of operation.  Our goal is a 100% up time, and to never shut our doors.  Located in an area that is inland, and not prone to natural disasters, Answerphone of America offers unparalleled reliability.  The call center building is a solidified brick & steel frame structure capable of withstanding the harshest storms.  Our electrical utilities are backed up by 2 on-site standby generators that automatically start in the event of power outages.

Reliability

Not only does Answerphone of America have backup power supplies for our call center, we have redundant telecommunications lines, computer systems and servers, and off-site data storage. 

Most answering services have backup T1/T3s (phone lines) that come in from a second provider.  The issue is that if the D3 switch for the region goes down, multiple providers will lose their telephone service.  There is one way around this, and Answerphone of America is one of the few who have implemented this particular backup plan.  While our primary source of phone service is a T3, we backup our primary service with fiber optic lines that come from the cable company.  Their call distribution doesn’t rely on a centralized D3 switch, making this the most reliable method for backing up your phone system.
